The ITEC Level 4 Certificate in Skin Needling  It is aimed at practitioners in the Beauty and Medical field wanting to up-skill into the Aesthetics Industry. Learners are required to hold a minimum level 3 beauty therapy qualification or health practitioner. Skin needling can also be called micro needling or CIT (Collagen Induction Therapy). It is a non – invasive, non-surgical  and non – ablative procedure for face and body rejuvenation that involves the use of an needling device to create a controlled skin injury. This course is carried out using world renowned Dermapenworld – Dermapen 4 pen and medical grade skincare Dp Dermaceuticals for professional and retail use.

To obtain the ITEC level 6 award in skin Needling :

• Requirements : Level 3 beauty specialist/ therapy qualification or health practitioner.
• 6 Case studies to be completed
• Assignments to be completed 
• Examinations – Online theory MCQ & onsite practical

Level 4 skin needling runs 1 day a week for 4 weeks,10am – 4pm

Course contents 

Learners must achieve all mandatory units which include :

• Principles and practice of non-medical aesthetic therapies 
• Advanced consultation for non-medical aesthetic therapies
• Advanced skin care for non-medical aesthetic therapies
• Provide cosmetic skin needling treatments 

Throughout this qualification, learners will develop their knowledge and understanding of relevant anatomy and physiology and health and safety. They will also develop knowledge, understanding and skills to consult with and analyse clients whilst providing skin needling treatments. In parallel, learners will develop their communication and customer service skills and widen their knowledge of the principles and practices.
